Hello and a warm welcome to my website!
I'm Yasmin Burke, a 23-year-old Bisexual (she/her) dyslexic artist from Huyton, Liverpool.
This website offers insights into my current aspirations and an in-depth exploration of my portfolio. As I find myself in the final months of pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Fine Art at Liverpool Hope Creative Campus, I'm excited to share my journey with you.
Residing within the vibrant community of the campus has been an incredibly enriching experience, fostering a sense of home and belonging within me.
It is this sense of connection that has inspired me to seek out opportunities to give back, such as applying for the role of Wellbeing Assistant.
This aligns perfectly with my passion for supporting fellow students, a calling I intend to carry forward into my future career as a secondary school art teacher.
My ultimate aim is to spark a sense of wonder and creativity in young individuals, encouraging them to view the world with fresh eyes and find beauty in the seemingly mundane.
