This year is an exploration of a series of multiple sculptures I created from a variety of media starting with ceramics and clay to found materials as well as mod rock works and cardboard configurations I also plan to produce a large-scale acrylic painting.
My uncanny surreal creatures being surrounded by Liverpool architecture allows these creatures to represent individuality and each creates some representation of a physical being within our surroundings.
I intend to explore childlike drawings initially and how I can transform them into something more refined and what people can consider fine art.
Looking at how storytelling can further an idea of a creature and make it come alive.
As an artist, I think that anyone should be able to curate art and it shouldn’t be down to finance or academic success. I think given the opportunity anyone can create an interesting and compelling piece of fine art to display.
